Almost every other week, an employee comes to me with the complaint that “My printer doesn’t work”. It is always that, their password expired today and they chose not to change it until tomorrow. Well that’s great except when the printers are on the network (all of our printers), and when your password expires your LAN access expires.. No one every gets it, I just ask them if their password expired today “Well yeah”, “Change it and log back on”, “Okay…”
On another note, I tried to mention something about this on twitter, and couldn’t manage to fit it into 140 characters.. Oh well..
